Mary said: "I love the way you guys think... No more couch potato !"

pixiechic said: "i'm ready to march! life is too short to not enjoy it. i started taking tennis lessons, something i have never done before, for both fun and fitness. this summer i want to be able to enjoy the game i've learned. bigboy.. i know what you're saying. i need to get better about jotting things down as well. it doesn't seem like it is that hard to do."

pixiechic said: "i put a spin on it with k-swiss! lol. got love for my shoes!"

shrkntz said: " I have started a new start as of February 14th 2005. I am allready 6 inches down, plenty to go. Daily I go to the gym now, watch what I eat, walk to and from the gym in a fast pace, walk the dog at 8pm. I quit smoking in November of 2004. I want to walk until I can walk no more, I will march with others this month. Way to go everyone."

shrkntz said: "Losing weight has been a great struggle but rewarding every time I lose some. I plan on walking all of it off till I look how I feel. I wish you all the best in your march."

pixiechic said: "congrats snappea! nice to meet you, whateverhobb :) good luck on getting to your goals."

featherish said: "It is the first day of March, and with that it is time to March into the future. As fitter, healthier, happier and more productive people. Spring and summer are going to be here quicker than you even know. The time is now to make a commitment to yourself to improve your life. Leading a sedentary lifestyle doesn't bring joy to your life. It makes you feel paralyzed and holds you back from attaining your true self. Don't be afraid to try something new. Test yourself! See what light exists in your true self, and then light it up! Remember back to when we were kids and the days were long and a year took forever to end. Touch base with that inner child (that still exists in all of us) what did you like to do? Riding your bike? Jumping Rope? Swimming? Doing Cartwheels? It is never too late to do these things. In fact, that is what helps to keep us young! March is the month to really get excited about your life and all the things out there waiting for you. It is never too late to be young again!"

featherish said: "
I want to dedicate my self to loose 10lbs. before the end of March. You really know how to inspire people!!!! Thanks..... Now does liposution count as loosing 10lbs??? LOL not really. :)
:) I think that it's a good time to get your goals in focus! Spring always reinvigorates me. It is the best season of the year! There is still plenty of time before summer gets here to lose those extra pounds. I'm happy that you decided to "march" with us!"

featherish said: "Glad to hear that everyone is "marching" Keep up the great work everyone."

Henrietta said: "This is interesting! I think I need some great shoes soon too."

Henrietta said: "Way to go, Pea! You can march into Spring with some "spring" in your step :)"

Heather said: "I hear you! There is no time like the present to change the things that we aren't happy with. Sort of like a "spring cleaning" of our minds and body. I'm ready to March! I have made a commitment to shave 10 pounds off of my frame by the end of March, and I can do this!"

Heather said: "That is even more reason to get your goals in order and work to achieve them. Old man winter is trying to keep you down. But the truth is, it is March. We are at the end of winter, not at the beginning. Perhaps it will be the last blast? A bit of exercise could make you feel better."

Heather said: "I've been marching along and have lost some poundage already! I'm going to keep on going :)"

And there are plenty of days left to get rid of 7000 calories :) I hope that everyone else here is getting closer to their goals, too!"

Heather said: "Well I weighed in today, I was at 145.5 That means that I was only short by about a pound of what I wanted to lose by the end of March. I'm pretty happy with my results and my goal is to lose 10 pounds by the end of April. I hope that everyone else is closer to reaching their personal goals, too!"

Darren said: "It sures seems like March today! There's a 3 foot bank of snow behind the house. But I still thing Spring will be here soon."

Darren said: "I have a hard time "journalizing" things. I'm sure it's a habit, and I'm not in it. I think if I wrote more stuff down I'd have better luck."

Darren said: "I'm marching into the future in my brand new pair of Mizuno's. My "New Balance" shows failed me for the last time. I had a pair of "All Terrains" and I hit a "caution wet floor" floor at the local movie theater and landed on my ass! What a disloyal pair of shoes."

Darren said: "Good for you. I'm glad I have snow shows to march into the future this year. I'm expecting a few warm days soon."

Darren said: "Yep, sure am. I'm hoping to leave the 300s behind, and it looks like I will."

cvalh said: "hmmm, i'm indifferent to new balance, and Nike's don't fit me right. has anyone tried easy spirit? i LOVE those!"

UniqueMystique said: "I hated my "New Balance" shoes. They were great for everyday wear...but sucked for working out. My feet hurt terribly in the evenings. Found a pair of "Nike's" that are a pain to put on but once they are on...they are so light that you barely even know they are there. COMFORTABLE!"

UniqueMystique said: "I've never been a big fan of Nike's for working out. I used to wear Reebok's because they fit my skinny foot better and sopprt my high arch. I also have never been a fan of 'running' shoes either.....I always felt like I was going downhill. Anyhow.....I was in Tulsa last year and these Nike's caught my eye. Different from any I've ever seen. Upon first glance...I thought they were leather. They aren't. Mosty mesh and a very lightweight material that looks like leather...but isn't. The were also labeled 'running' shoes. I almost put them down....but I really liked the look and feel of them. I decided to try them on. They are the hardest danged shoes to put on. There is no 'tongue'. It look like there is one...but there isn't....the shoe is all one piece. Getting my high arch shoved through that little opening is tough....but they fit like a fine glove once they are on. There are laces to adjust the fit....and...I don't feel like I'm going downhill. I hate wearing shoes anyways and these are the only ones that I can stand to wear all day. I love them....and I'll probably never find another pair....ever. :("

UniqueMystique said: "Well....I had the goal of getting away from the 196 number on my scales before the end of March. I've already succeeded at that....193 now. My new goal is to get into the 180's before the end of March."

whateverhobb said: "Well I am jumping on board as well. I have to set a goal this month, a 10 pound loss will be good. I'm going to say by the end of April though since March is almost over. 268 mini goal 258 goal 170 :D Getting my nails done."
