Should I skip a meal?Should I skip a meal?
Fagan said: "I was thinkin' that maybe I could skip a meal or two to cut back on calories. But I was also thinkin' that skippin' meals mightn't be in my best interest. Whaddaya think?"
Fagan said: "I don't try to skip meals, but I don't care to much for breakfast, and don't eat it often. Pretty good about lunch and dinner, though. Eating them, that is."
zozzo said: "I never cared for breakfast either, but that's not the right way. You should eat more in the morning and less in the evening, because you have more chances of spending those calories during the day than at night. Do you stay up late? Try going to bed earlier and getting up earlier. You will feel hungry enough in the morning."

i used to skip my breakfast but once i started on my weight loss journey back on dec 13, 04
my doctor said not to skip any meals at all, he even suggested to make your self wake up just so i can get my breakfast.
i have cut down my 3 meals in half and i also have 3 snacks per day and what a balance of energy i have.
i have never seen this amount of energy before and since i have this weight gain syndrome it makes me even happier to see that i am seeing results.
I AM IN CONTROL AND CAN NOT BELEIVE WHAT I AM SEEING, I AM LOSING WEIGHT, YEEEEHAAAAA."
gizmonel said: "Yes i have been exercising twice a day at 15 minutes each session and i am feeling better every day
i hope i can keep this up for as long as i have these 90 pounds to lose."
gizmonel said: "Hello everyone, i just thought you would like to know that i am bumping up my bike sessions to 17 minutes this week, but of course i will still be at tension level for a bit."
gizmonel said: "Hello, i missed to say that i will be at tension level 1 for bit longer"
pixiechic said: "slowly work your way into it. rome wasn't built in a day after all!
stay dedicated to your short term and long term goals and you can do it!"
Henrietta said: "You can skip meals, but you should probably use a more scientific approach.
How many meals a day do you normally eat now? Are you pretty regular in your habits?"
Henrietta said: "That's very true.
I'm a fan of meating many small "meals" so you're not hungry all the time. If you eat more often, you are less hungry to eat a lot at the same time."
Henrietta said: "I bet you can. The nice thing about exercise is that it's addictive! If you force yourself to do it for about a month or longer you get hooked on it."
Heather said: "I've heard that eating several small meals a day is better than skipping meals.
It sounds like it would be easier to follow.
But everyones body works different. Have you already been skipping meals?"
Heather said: "Zozzo is right on. If you keep your body fueled all day long starting with breakfast, chances are you'll do better on your diet every day. Even if you only eat fruit, it would be better than nothing."
Heather said: "That is really great news!
Following what your doctor says is important.
Have you been exercising in conjunction with your diet?"
