what i did in class today..

pixiechic said: "thanks for the encouraging words, guys. i have realized just how much your thinking can affect your performance (in anything) if you let it. the more i cursed myself, the worse it got. when i switched it around to "you are getting better" it seemed to go that way. i know it is always sort of hard to start something new, and if you don't feel that you are doing well, it is easier to give up or quit. but quitting isn't very honorable either. the best thing to do is have fun and learn. the first few times you try something, don't get upset if you haven't aced it the third time you try."
