Jumping ROPE!!Jumping ROPE!!
PersonalFitnessTrainer said: "You selected an outstanding exercise with the least amount of cost when it comes to cardio training other than running..
It really gets your heart rate going..
I would recommend doing interval training with the jump rope...
Meaning High Intensity for 30-45 second fast output jumps and then slow and moderate to get your heart rate back down again for about 1 1/2 minutes to 2 minutes.
Perform this HIIT for 30 minutes with a 5 minute warm up in the beginning finishing with a 5 minute cool down at the end..
You will burn more fat than you ever have...

LOL, good point, GreenEyes. I bought a jump rope with a counter in it that counts how many jumps you do and how many calories you are burning. I think it was about $25 at Dick's, but I use it often. I used it in Ukraine instead of going running because you can do it inside and it doesn't require a whole lot of room. Plus, it's GREAT cardio!"

The other day I found a jump rope at Target for $3. Today I decided it was time to try it out, and I hadn't jumped rope since I was maybe...12?? ;) I remember I used to be able to do it with sooo much ease, and let me tell you guys I consider myself in ok shape and the jumping rope really took it out of me!!
I just wanted to share this with you all, great and CHEAP excersize! :D"

Yeah I tried jumping rope last summer at 186lbs. and it almost made me sick...I was in pretty bad shape I guess. I do agree that jumping rope is a very low cost way to get into shape. Thanks for sharing :)"
