I bought a jump rope with a counter in it that counts how many jumps you do and how many calories you are burning. I think it was about $25 at Dick's, but I use it often. I used it in Ukraine instead of going running because you can do it inside and it doesn't require a whole lot of room. Plus, it's GREAT cardio!"

Yeah I tried jumping rope last summer at 186lbs. and it almost made me sick...I was in pretty bad shape I guess. I do agree that jumping rope is a very low cost way to get into shape.
