I'm 25 years old and am marrying a wonderful man this coming sept. I refuse to be fat bride, which is why i'm here. I wish that i would have belived all the older women in my life that told me to be careful when it came to weight because one day my bad habits would catch up with me. THEY HAVE I always thought i would never really have to worry about my it because i'm so tall, but i was wrong. This whole diet thing is so foriegn to me that i'm not sure i'm even doing anything right. I've started watching what i eat and excersising to my pilaties dvd. If anyone has any tips on how to stay motivated i would really appriciate it, it's a long time till the big day, and i can't fall off this wagon. thank, jenny height-5'10 starting weight-197lbs goal weight-170lbs"

Today i had a whole grain bagel w/ fat free cream cheese for breakfast, a bowl of grape nuts with 1/2 banana and skim milk for lunch and a handful of soynuts for a snack. I have to admit that i miss the fatty, fried, and sugary foods that i'm used to but i feel really empowered right now, i think i can really do this. earlier today i cleaned out my cupboards and threw away my most vices (have to keep some for fiance) and went to the store to stock up healthier snacks. i do wish my fiance was a little more supportive. he is 5'8 and 145lbs, and wishes he could gain weight, he just doesnt' get what is so hard about eating better and working out more. during lunch he even tried to get me to eat french fries saying that a few wouldnt hurt....the nervehttp://www.featherish.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=20842# Mad anyways...good luck to all of you, because if your anything like me, you need it!"

My best suggestion is to write everything down...the big meals and the little tastes... I am amazed at what I consume when I'm grazing. Enjoy all of the planning.. :) Wishing you luck, Sarah"

I had to wear a corset to small...it took 2 people to lace me up in it. thought I was gonna pass out. I weighed 189lbs at the time and gaining.I have told the story of my weight gain on introduce yourself. Anyway back to motivation...I wore 2....yes 2 girdles and control top hose.
