PilatesPilates

pilates is a really good way to exercise. just for general fitness most doctors suggest that you get 20-30 minutes of exercise every day, regardless of whether or not you are trying to lose weight.
cardio will help burn extra calories, so is worth doing."

As far as sweating....yes you do need to drink plenty of water and the further you go down the road doing your cardio on a daily basis you will notice you may be sweating a little more than what you use to. I was never a sweating type, but now I have noticed a little bit more than I use to."

I've done pilates a few times and I kind of like it. Is it going to help me lose weight though? Or will it just tone me? Do I need to combine cardio with this to get results? By the way, i'm 20, 5'7 and 140 lbs. I would like to lose 20 lbs off my hips and tummy.
Also, whenever I exercise, even hard for an hour. I don't sweat. What's up with that? I feel like i'm working reallly hard. I get a little damp under my arms and thats it. I have never in my life had sweat rolling off my face. Am I not working hard enough or what?
If anyone can help that would be great
Thanks
Leah"
