LucyBirdd said: "Thanks Annette, I've tried the crunches, its seems no matter how many I do, I cant get rid of that little pouch (ya know, the pouch we woman all have)
I have little dumb bells too, so I'll try that too."

You start in a situp position but you lift your knees to your chest and make sure you keep your back flat."

welcome to the forums, btw! nice to meet you :)"

Based on a weight of 150 pounds, jumping rope for 20 minutes will burn about 220 calories. This compared to walking on pavement only burns about 110.
Hope this helps! The most important thing to do is to just get moving."

actually, not all women have it. you might need more cardio to lose it, or you might be targeting the wrong muscle groups. then again, it IS possible that on your body, you won't be able to lose it."

Try standing on a stair with the heal of your foot off the stair and lifting up on your tippy toes and holding and then back down.. try that 15 times stop for a few mintues and another 15 times. Really helps your leg muscels and cavs:)
Another type of exercise is crunches .. Put on some sneakers and lay on the floor placeing your feet under something heavy with an opening (couch)
also you can try lifting soup cans as weights. It sounds silly but when i was in highschool my cheerleading coach used to make us do that every evening. It actually does help. And you can get big canned foods these days hehe.
Good luck !"

Either that or I do "dance cardio" where I combine a lot of moves that I know from exercise videos to make my own aerobics routine. I only do that when no one is watching though :) Jumping rope is also excellent, as is climbing stairs."
