Some of my favorite shows are 30 Minute Meals, Everyday Italian, and Semi-Homemade. Now, all these shows are hosted by women who are thin, but yet, they make all this super high-calorie food with butter, cream, sugar, etc. Does anyone else here wonder if they REALLY eat that stuff? Or do you think they normally eat lighter foods? I'm pretty sure Rachel Ray is one of the most genetically blessed, metabolically speaking, of any woman I've seen. She also has a show where she eats 3 meals/snacks on $40 a day and I can tell she has a great appetite. Maybe they just work out a lot, I don't know."

Firmbeliever said: "I love Rachel Ray. I'm sure they exercise a lot. If I was on camera I'd do it all I could. She may also have a faster metabolism too. Weight gain also has a lot to do with genes. Our bodies were designed to store fat because long ago people would go through times of famon and they needed the fat to survive. It's too bad, but we still have that gene (some people have a better functioning one that others) and we become obese. I guess Rachel doesn't have the high functioning one like we do."
