Very interesting. Thanks for the post. This is the very first time I ever heard of anything that would suggest it's ok to skip breakfast."

I know that if I skip breakfast by lunchtime I get pretty hungry. And I'm more likely to snack."

There are so many different theories on whether or not to eat breakfast, a lot of times I'm not that hungry in the morning. Listening to your body is probably one of the best things you can do.If you're hungry, eat. If not, don't."

We have the light kind, which happen to have only 50 calories per serving, so that's good for me since I do low-cal. I fid, though, that I'm still usually hungry either way. But then, whne I look at the times I would eat a high-carb breakfast, I was ravenous and I know why. Fruit does hold me pretty good, though."

"I've never been a breakfast eater, but everyone says that the habit is proven to aid weight loss. Well, I've got 35 pounds to drop, so I started forcing it down a few weeks ago. Now I feel famished the rest of the morning and I've put on 5 pounds! Why?"
----Your breakfast aversion suggests that you might not be biologically wired to enjoy an A.M. meal. Researchers at the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center in Derby, Connecticutt, found that nonhungry participants who ate at 6 A.M. had hunger pangs three hours later. So they ate a second breakfast, which caused weight gain. It may be that morning-meal avoiders have different circadian rhythms (internal cycles that regulate hunger). Since defying your body clock with an out-of-synch meal doesn't nix tummy grumbling, wait until you are hungry to eat. Who says that you can't have an omelette at noon?
