1. How much sodium is heart healthy and good for weight loss?
2. How many grams of fat should I consume daily for weight loss?
3. Without going on a carb free diet, how many carbs should I have daily to lose weight?
I would really appreciate some help, I'm trying to be sure that my diet at it's best. I am trying to lose 80 pounds by October 1st. In order to do this I have to drop 2.33 pounds per week, which I think is reasonable. If I'm happy with the way I look and feel after dropping 60 pounds then I will maintain that weight. But for now my goal is 80!!!! Any suggesstions would be welcome to improve my success. Thanks for any help"

However, it is recommended that you consume about 5 grams a day. (Doesn't seem like much) Excessive sodium in the diet contributes to hypertension and makes you retain water.
Fats should be about 15-25 grams per day. Omega 3 fats are good for you and supplied by fish and other seafood."

I don't know how many carbs your supposed to have in a day.
Eating complex carbs like potatoes, vegetable roots and whole grains like wheat, and rice are much better than processed flour and refined sugar types of carbs.
Good Luck!"
