62 days til Spring.

QueenBee said: "The baseball players are headed to WinterHaven for Spring training. That is a sign that spring isn't that far off. Opening day will be here soon."

believe said: "Yes Indeed!! I can't wait. I want to start a walking program and I am very, very tired of the wintery cold weather. We did not so far, have alot of snow but enough for me. Personally I like the fall season something I feel that never seems to hang around long enough. To me it seems that summer drags on and winter hangs around to long. Thats how I feel about it. As far as spring time its my second best season followed by winter and lastly summer. :)"

pixiechic said: "spring has always been my favorite season. it got up to about 50 degrees yesterday, and people were in their shorts! i think everyone is anxious for the weather to break. including myself, but i'm going to wait for a while before i start wearing shorts!"

Heather said: "Isn't it always 6 weeks no matter whether he sees it or not? I know what you're saying. They are calling for some weather in the mid 40's maybe even in the 50's this weekend. The sun is out so it is a welcome change. Hopefully it will stick around long enough to melt away some of this leftover snow."

Elaine said: "I know exactly how everyone is feeling, too. Every day is one day closer to spring. I am waiting for the day when you walk outside the door and you can smell "spring" in the air. Truth is January went by pretty quick.. it will happen soon!"

Elaine said: "It went by kinda quick for me. :eek: ..I hear that is typical when you get a little older.."

Elaine said: "I think that he saw his shadow. 6 more weeks of winter. If nothing else, we can at least start the countdown till it arrives :)"

Elaine said: "Spring is not today :( Snow is. And I'm getting sick of it!!"

Darren said: "When the GroundHod sees his fat lil shadow it means 6 weeks, right? Well 6 weeks moves quick around here!"

Darren said: "It's been 50 degrees here lately, so Spring is coming very soon."

Darren said: "I'd be happy to just NOT FREEZE for a day or two. I'm not picky :D"

cvalh said: "the thing that confuses me, is in the last few decades, the groundhog is surrounded by so many TV lights, how can he possibly NOT see his shadow? are we ASKING for six more weeks of winter?"

cvalh said: "It flurried here yesterday. The thing about it, "here" is Atlanta. That's not supposed to happen in Atlanta in March. Heck, that barely happens in Atlanta in January!"
