Weight Loss Principles that have been working for me

LowCalMan said: "I've lost 65 pounds in the last year. Here's how 1) I increased my exercise a lot! Join a gym. 2) I controlled my portion sizes. 3) I skipped restaurants mostly. They cook in fat. 4) I ate more often, but less at every session 5) I tried to eat naturally, like people from the old days. The less processed the better. These concepts might seem simple, but they're being widely ignored these days. What are your thoughts?"

Henrietta said: "Well how many people really exercise these days? Most people I see, especially those over 40, rarely do anything physical. That's one way we're different than people were 20 years ago. Oh, that and we're fatter. Maybe there's a connection."

Heather said: "I think it is more that both things are taking place at the same time. Lack of exercise and really bad diets have finally caught up with mankind. And parents are teaching their kids bad habits, also. Not to start a tirade here, but schools have pop machines. How can this be good? Seems like that is more fuel for ADD.."
