Is being fat a state of mind?

Things that don't have dollar signs attached to them, like quality of life, life expectancy, depression, and lowered self esteem. A lot of schools are going away from offering physical education classes and this can't help kids either. Education and physical activity are so important in a kids life, and video games and TV seem to be a lot more prevelent. TV introduces food marketing as soon as a child can open up his eyes.
