Don’t Forget The Fiber!

If you are looking to follow a well balanced diet, don’t forget about your fiber! Fiber helps prevent against a myriad of diseases and conditions including high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes and can help “keep you regular.”

If you need to add fiber into your diet, here are some great sources:

  • Apples.
  • Figs.
  • Oranges.
  • Whole wheat breads.
  • Muffins.
  • Applesauce.
  • Cauliflower
  • Broccoli.
  • Cereal.
  • Oatmeal.
  • Of course, you can always supplement your fiber intake with a product such as Citrucel, which is mixed with water, but natural sources are still the best.

    So eat up and don’t forget your fiber!
