Swimmer’s Ear Home Remedy

I had the misfortune recently of getting a case of “Swimmer’s Ear”, and I was fortunate enough to cure it with this home remedy, so I thought I’d make the information available to anyone else suffering from this malady.

All you need to cure your Swimmer’s Ear is the miracle substance known as H202 or Hydrogen Peroxide. You will also need a small ear plunger, or syringe, as they may be called. Here’s an example:

I’m sure if you had to rig up a contraption, it shouldn’t be a problem, as long as it will suck out the ear wax from the ear canal. Here’s the instructions to follow to get rid of the build up of ear wax which causes Swimmer’s Ear.

  • Lay on one side. Tilt your head and drop enough hydrogen peroxide into your ear so that it “fills up”
  • You’ll hear it fizzing, believe it or not. Wait for about 3-5 minutes until it’s done. The fizzing is the ear way being dissolved
  • Suck out excess peroxide and ear wax with your syringe
  • Flip to other side and let your ear drain fully into waiting towel or napkin
  • Wait about 10 minutes to 20 minutes and do other ear

You may have to do this for a few days until your ears are clear of wax. It worked for me, hopefully it will work for you.
