How Drinking Water Helps You Lose Weight

Greetings,
I’m fairly certain that most of the people here know of the benefits of drinking water. Staying hydrated is important in keeping all of our systems running effectively. I’ve seen plenty of information that explains why we should drink water but not how we should drink water.
I was reading an article in the Oct. 10th issue of “Women’s World” magazine. They usually have covers with blazing titles proclaiming the latest trend in weight loss. While standing at the checkout counter, I noticed this particular title, “The Slimming New Water Cure’. I picked up the magazine to thumb through it, expecting to see advice on how to live on a water diet. Surprisingly, it was actually quite informative.
People who are well hydrated have metabolisms that work 50 times more efficiently than those who are not. It also helps break down more carbs and fats and aids in digestion.
Staying hydrated also benefits your health by combating kidney stones, chronic fatigue and arthritis. The trick to drinking it is to have 10 ounces before and after each meal. This gets the stomach ready and also will help you to feel fuller, so you will eat less. They estimate that you can save 104 calories per meal. Drink more water throughout the day and never let yourself get thirsty. Once you’re thirsty, you are already dehydrated. For those of you who don’t like to drink plain water, you can add slices of lemon or orange to make it tastier.
I’ve been trying this method for 2 days now and I have to admit that I feel better already. I don’t get as tired in the afternoons and I am eating less at meals. I wanted to pass this tip on so everyone can benefit from it. I hope it works as well for you as it seems to be working for me. Today’s affirmation is I will stay hydrated for better health. Say it 10 times and mean it. Peace - Rhonda
