Get Off Your Lazy Ass And Do Something

Do I have your attention now? Good. The 8 word sentence I just placed in the title is the only secret to weight loss you need to know. And the best part is, it’s not even a secret. You can “watch what you eat” and it will definitely help. But to get on with getting the type of body you have, you have to just get off your lazy ass and do it?

Are you with me?
I can’t HEAR YOU! Let’s get excited out there in the blogosphere, people!

Things you don’t need to lose weight:

1) A personal trainer or all around Guru
2) Specialized information that you have to pay for
3) Fancy equipment which takes a ton of money to buy
4) Expensive gym memberships

Things you will need to lose weight:

1) Determination to change your habits
2) “Stretch”-like workout clothing of some type. Hey, if you’re fat, I bet your wardrobe mainly consists of clothes like this already :)
3) A simple workout routine which you can follow. Building core strength should be your foundation. Concern yourself with good health and functional strength.
4) A body-friendly diet that cuts back on all of the common “junk foods” of modern society. I would recommend you eat a ton of vegetables for maximum health.

That’s all you need. That, and someone to scream “Get off your ass and do something” at least a few times a day. If you move it, then you won’t “lose it”.

Hopefully I’ve motivated you to do something physical today. In honor of you, I’ll drop and give you 20 pushups right now.
