Don’t Feel Bad About What You Look Like In Pictures
August 30, 2006 – 2:30 pmIt’s something that all of us face at one time or another, looking at pictures or watching videos of ourselves. I know more than one person that never wants to be photographed or caught on video.
To me, this is a silly. There’s no reason to shrink at the thought of being the person that you are, and technology allows you to capture a moment of time that you’ll never get back. It’s a way of archiving your life and allows you to share your life with others, so celebrate life.. you’re important enough that someone wants to film you
If you are unhappy with what you look like in pictures, you can work to fix the flaws. Your outfit can be replaced, your hair can be restyled, you can change the way you wear makeup, or embark on a fitness campaign if your weight is an issue.
Beauty is radiated from within, so the next time you have a camera or camcorder in your face
smile for the camera and let your beauty show.

I agree with you 100% Heather. I know a lot of people that hide from cameras and never want their picture taken. I like having mine taken (sometimes, depending on what I’m doing at the time) and it’s cool to see what you look like to others. It’s also a great way to preserve what you look like at any given point in time. I guarantee you that most women that “hate” the way they look in photos will look back on those photos when they’re 60 and say “Wow, I looked GOOD back then!”

You need to just swallow your bitter medicine, no matter how you look
