Tips to Help Reduce Asthma This Summer
June 30, 2006 – 4:59 pmIf you suffer from asthma, you still need to enjoy your life despite it. To reduce the chances of aggravating your asthma this tips should be helpful:
- Keep your distance from campfires and people that are smoking.
- Changing weather can flare up asthma. Be aware of changes to the barometer, humidity, temperatureand ozone alerts.
- Make sure your home and car are air conditioned to keep air dry, cool and clean.
- Avoid standing behind cars that are running. Exhaust fumes can cause an asthma attack.
- Avoid strenuous activity when it’s hot outside.
- Wash your hair and body before going to bed at night. This will remove allergens from your hair so they don’t get on your pillow.
- Leave your shoes outside so you don’t bring allergens like pollen into your home.
