In a report released today, Surgeon General Richard Kamara speaks on the dangers of second hand smoke and how it affects non-smokers. This is the first comprehensive study that’s been done in the last 20 years on this subject and the findings are significant.

As you may well be aware, more and more cities, workplaces and even restaurants have made the move to become “Smoke-Free” environments. Exposure to second hand smoke increases chances of lung disease, heart disease, asthma and even cancer. Not to mention it might ruin someones dinner, or irritate a co-worker ;)

If you’d like to read the study in it’s entirety, it can be found at the Surgeon General’s Website
