Fresh Farm Markets Make for Good Shopping
June 15, 2006 – 6:56 pmThe other day we stopped at a local fresh farm market. The place is nothing fancy, in fact, the only payment they accept is cash or check. Not having to deal with credit card companies probably saves a lot of hassle for them in the long run.

Out front they have hundreds of plants for sale, mostly flowers. Inside they have just about anything a frugal shopper could want. Fresh produce for a reasonable price. We filled our cart with lettuce, apples, strawberries, blueberries, more lettuce, potatos, peppers, corn, mushrooms, melon.. you get the idea.. our bill came to just under $43.00 cash. Not too bad considering a comparable cart at the grocery store would be more like $100.00 easily.
If you happen to have a farm fresh market near you, stop in and see what they have to offer. You might find a great place to pick up excellent fruits and vegetables at a fair price.
