Let your journal be your diet guide.
Have you been watching your weight for a while? If you are like many, your weight may never seem to change, or in the worst case, go up! That same feeling over and over is sure to take the winds out of anyone's sails, but there is a way to "right the ship". It's called a Diet journal.
How can a Diet Journal help you? Well, In order for it to help you, you have to start it! It can be a simple notebook. In it, you will want to write down everything you eat in a day. Everything, no matter how small it may seem. You can also make notes about what exercise you have done, and how you are "feeling".
Continue doing this for a week or so. Then review what you consumed. When you are reviewing it, you can get a good idea on where you might be eating extra calories, and figure out a way to restrict or limit these extra calories.
A diet journal has helped many a successful dieter pinpoint problems in their eating habits, and make healthy changes to lose weight for good.
