Hello featherish members :) I joined this site for support with losing weight. After getting married, it seems Ive just piled on the kilo's (too many wholesome dinners)...not enough exercise has caused me to go from a sixe eight to a size fourteen. Ive been doing the Kim Kateral diet "The facelift diet' and so far Ive lost three kilo's....Ive also been doing around 40 mins of execise a day. I just hope I can lose the weight before summer because I can here my bikini calling. Social Butterfly

Hello and welcome SocialButterfly! :D What is a facelift diet? I've never heard of that one, but I'm glad its showing some results for you!!

getting married can have that unfortunate side effect, amongst others :) you are lucky to be still looking forward to summer. where i am its almost over! good luck on your journey and welcome aboard!

:D Thanks for welcoming me :D The facelift diet is basicly three meals of fish a day (mostly salmon) plus salad and fruit. I'm not allowed to eat other meats, eggs, pasta, potato or Chocolate. However, I have added at least one turkish delight a week, just so I don't crave for it and it hasn't had any effect on my weight loss. This is the first diet I have actually stuck to, I guess I was sick of looking at my body in the mirror and being dissapointed in myself. My meals for a day are: Breakfast: 1 peice of toast and a glass of orange juice although sometimes I'm naughty and skip this meal. Lunch: A roll with tomato, cheese, avacado, lettuce, dijonaise and a salmon pattie plus a glass of water, coke or fruit juice. Dinner: A bowl of vegetable soup with a peice of bread or another salad roll, and a glass of fruit joice water or wine, depending on how I feel. I do a 40 minute full body workout on my exerflex and sixty situps on my ab roller. I never miss a days exercise and sometimes do it two times a day. Last night I tried on my trackies, which I hadn't worn for around a week. Usually they are tight on me but they were Baggy!! I couldn't beleave it and it has encouraged me heaps. What used to stop me from sticking to diets was firstly, dening myself a little treat, Stopping after a few days because I hadn't lost any weight yet and I guess I just hadn't found the right diet. Also, My mum told me that the weight doesn't drop of for a little while but then after a while just starts falling off, and she was right. Good luck with your dieting everyone and thanks for the support. Social Butterfly
