The results are in. The man gained 25 pounds in one month and felt horrible. I guess any of us who have had McDonalds knew what the result would be. At least the "I'm Lovin' It" campaign is doing well for them.

doesnt surprise me but what does is that he ate McDonald's for a month and survived!!! I used to work at mcD's and believe me that you DONT want to know what happens behind the scenes LOL We all need to rememeber that even the so called light or diet foods at these places usually only encompassed lowering 1 thing ie fat carbs or sugar and we CAN do Better at home! EVERYONE keep up the good work

I have heard of a few of those types of stories you mention concerning food preperation and that alone is enough to make me want to go there. But I think McDonald's is convenient to people. They can get coffee and sausage biscuits on the way to work. Eat them in the car and be on their way. I haven't had any fast food lately and I don't miss it much.

That is one heck of an article. Not such a treat after a 25 pound weight gain. I would have to imagine that if you ate there with any kind of frequency and never exercised you could easily gain a bit of weight through the years. ..and kids are coming up on this??

Does anyone really consider Mickey D's to be a "treat" anymore? I guess the very uninformed or the very young might be. I was amazed at what he said about the kids. Even kids who have never been to McDonalds called it their favorite restaurant.

Yuck. I worked at McDonalds when I was a teenager. Of course that was an awful long time ago, and it wasn't good then. The nutritional values on breakfast is horrifying. Biscuits especially. I'm not sure how it can "help" you get through a day! I guess that is why they have to offer salads.. so then they can at least defend themselves when they get sued.

i think the remarkable part of the story is that he survived at all! :P

Da Da Da Da Dahhh I'm lovin' it!

justin timberlake sang that hook. he shows up in unexpected places!

He shows up wherever the cash is. Those are some deep lyrics. "I'm Loving It!" :)

they all seem so frantic in the ads! i am loving it! sure ya are. yeah right :)

I had to use a McDonalds this weekend for the facility! The whole place was empty. The parking lot was run down. The whole place was dirty. Justin Timberlake was nowhere to be found. I was not lovin' it.

Funny.. I eat at McDonalds from time to time.. at least I have in the past, and I can't really say that I like any of their food all that much except their fries. I really do like their fries. I don't know if it is politically incorrect to say that on this site or in this forum, but it is the truth. So there it is.. I like their fries.. but I'm not "lovin' it" AF lll

hehe. it is politically correct. :) mcdonalds is a part of life. every one eats there from time to time. doesn't mean that it's really good, but it fills a need if you are on the go. the fries were always touted as being the best in the industry. mcdonalds is one of my friends favorite restaurants. he's 32. ..and that is cool.. ..cuz big macs rule..
