I am 5 foot 3 inches tall, small boned, and weigh 125. I used to weigh (at the peak) 225, Wore size 22/24 pants. So this is the tail end of my weight loss. I have flabby places from where my skin stretched back in the day. So my final frontier is get "ripped" (or at least toned up anyhow)

Most people can't believe that I weigh what I do, and when I first started gaining a lot of weight people said that I really carried my weight well. My husband said I was 'Round and firm and fully packed! So for years I told myself that since I looked fine to others, I must not be overweight. Stupid. Now I look fat, not only to myself, but to everyone else. Now I have to lose somewhere between 50 and 60 pounds. :cry:

Yay for the new year!!! I joined right before Christmas and lost 10 lbs in about 2 weeks by just really watching my portions, keeping my calories between 1300-1500, drinking more water, and of course I had some help from the flu! Since I was off from school and away from the gym I concentrated on the food aspect of my weightloss. School starts Monday so back to the gym I will go....

well let's see if this works tonight i tried to post last night but it wouldn't let me anyways i'm 174 and i am trying to get down to 130 and if i look and feel good i will stay there and if not i will go down to 115 i'm 5 foot 2 so i need to be that low in weight.
well right now im at 265 . My goal at this point is to lose 20 lbs. I know thats not alot but to me that is everything. If I can lose that I can do anything. My over all goal is to be down to 150 or 160 that would be a total life style change for me. I cant even remember being that small. But like someone said before me its nothing to be ashamed of we are all here for the same reasons! So with your support and my friends and family I know I can do this. I'M BAAAAAAAAAACK!!! Hello everyone old and new! For those of you who don't know me I joined in November 03. I did really good and lost 10lbs but gained 2 back over xmas and I've been stuck with them ever since! When school started back in Jan I had NO time to post let along work out! SO now that school is under control I am back in the game haha! My sister-in-law and I have been walking pretty regularly for the past week or two and its felt great so far! Tomorrow we are starting kickboxing to see how we do. Theres an aerobics class that we are lookin at too. So now I have a buddy and boy are we determined!!! Good luck to everyone! :D

i'm at 282. the weight loss is non-existent but there's a reason for that. i have been completely and consistently working out since the first week of january.
my pants are much looser and i can see in the mirror that i'm a lot leaner. so even though the scale is stuck i'm not too worried because the scale never tells the whole picture.

I weigh myself tomorrow, so I hope I'm down to 132. I've consistently lost 2lbs. a week (so far!) by cutting calories and exercising 20 min a day/5 days a week. I bought a digital scale today, but I don't know if I can trust it yet. The scale at work is a real 'doctor's' scale, with the weights (dunno what you call it) so I trust it more and must compare.
Unfortunately, I feel the opposite of what BigBoy said...I've lost pounds, but I don't feel any different, look different, nor do my clothes feel any looser :(. I hope within a few more weeks I'll feel a difference.

YAY FOR ME! My sister-in-law and I started our new routine this week. On Mondays & Fridays we walk for 30 mins. Tue & Thur we go to kickboxing class for an hour and a half. Wed. I have night class so no time to do anything! We are sticking to a 1500 calorie diet and keeping daily diaries that we email each other every day. Each of us is keeping a binder for the print outs with our daily logs, weekly weigh ins, and monthly weigh ins were we take our measurements too. Its been really really great to have that kind of accountability. I've also been reading Body for Life and I'm mixing in some of those principles too. My new goal is 125 by May 31. That is 12 weeks from 3/8/04 when we really started. Well our next weigh in is 3/22/04 so I will post the results!! Have a great day everyone!!! :lol:

I can't tell you how much having someone has helped!!! And we get to whine to each other!! LOL! We joke and laugh all through our kickboxing class because we aren't the most cordinated people on earth! I forgot to mention that I started taking the One A Day weight smart vitamins and I have noticed a HUGE change in my overall engery level and how well I feel. I used to take Centrum everyday but I really like these! Good luck to ya :lol:

well- i have a small to medium frame, not too muscular though:( my signature sayd i'm 147-149 pounds but i'm really 143 because i keep changing it on my info page but it doesn't apply my changes for some reason. i've lost 30 pounds so far and am aiming to lose another 15-20lbs by aug. but hopefully i'll lost a lot of that and be looking good by july 6th because that's my boyfriend and my 2nd year anniversary and i want to look great for him and myself. i've lost most of it by low calorie diet but the past 7 lbs gone are from my switching to atkins for the past 6 days...good luck to everyone!

You're 5'7 1/2, and you want to be 100 pds.? That would be very unhealthy. I'm 5'9" and I want to be 130 pds, and I consider that a lowere limit for me.

In all honesty I'm really not as concerned about my actual weight as I am with my size. So I guess my goal would be a low size 8.

I am tracking my calories, trying to get between 1200 and 1400 a day. I eat a lot of fresh veggies and protein. Don't care for sweets.
My problem- casual drinking :cry: It's totally got me stalled.

looks like everyone is really motivated to make a change :wink: i am so ready! i've been saying i'd lose the last few pounds for months now, lol. my stats are in my sig. i'm following a 1300-1600 cal/day diet cause i am training for a half-marathon and burn tons of cals through exercise every day. i really hope to lose 2 pounds/week. i'll give it 2-3 weeks, but if i'm not losing much, i'll drop a little lower in cals. good luck everyone!
